About me

Hi, I'm Tatev Muradyan, a passionate violinist dedicated to creating music that inspires and connects.

Born in Armenia and raised in Russia, my musical journey began at the School of Arts in Kirishi, where I studied with Olga Smirnova. I honed my craft at the Saint-Petersburg Music College and State Conservatory, learning from esteemed mentors like Liya G. Melik-Muradyan and Ilya V. Ioff.

I've performed across Europe and the United States on prestigious stages, collaborating with leading orchestras and artists. Highlights of my career include:

  • Playing with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev.
  • Touring the UK with the Britten-Shostakovich Orchestra in venues like Cadogan Hall in London.
  • Serving as Concertmaster of Chicago's “Intermezzi” Orchestra.
  • Collaborating with the rock band Foreigner and cellist Dave Eggar.

Currently based in the United States, I continue to perform, explore the local music scene, and contribute to the vibrant world of classical and contemporary music. My repertoire spans classical, jazz, and modern genres.
